give me envy, give me malice, baby give me a break xx
skylar ducked behind a pole outside the stadium where the bands would be performing later tonight, sighing with relief as he watched two freakish fan girls run past him. he hated the freaky obsessed fans. yeah, it was nice to ask for autographs and all, but when you started screaming you wanted to have skylar's babies and marry him and chased him around and made out with him on the street, well, that was where skylar drew the line. he opened his phone up and sent a quick text to kelsey, telling her that he was almost there, and then thrust the phone back into his pocket. his hand bumped against the aspirin he'd grabbed from a drug store, and he quickly transferred her latte out of his very full right hand into his left. his right hand was also holding his own coffee, both of which he'd grabbed from starbucks before running over here to get kelsey out of the merch tent and hopefully back to the bus. if he wasn't her best friend, he was fairly certain she'd manage to find a way to get lost in the middle of zimbabwe or something with a paper bag over her head.
he walked out from the pole and crossed the street, then walked past the stadium. if memory served correctly, the merch tents should be located around it. they usually always were. what was puzzling was how the hell kelsey had managed to end up in a merch tent. skylar was sure he had brought her back to the bus...but then he'd gone out to sign some autographs. shit. she must've snuck out while he wasn't looking. he sighed, shaking his head. forget zimbabwe, kelsey would probably end up on freaking pluto without him around to keep her from screwing up. he just hoped she hadn't slept with anybody in the merch tent, and if she had, that the person she had slept with wasn't from one of the other bands, or else the forever around paparazzi would pick up on it and make things harder than they needed to be. they were already hammering both kels and sky about their weights - they weren't exactly "slightly" underweight - so skylar doubted kelsey needed this on her plate among with everything else.
skylar rounded a corner of the sidewalk that surrounded the stadium, and sighed in relief when he saw the merch tents camped in an open parking lot across the street. he waited for the light to change and then crossed once he was certain that he wouldn't become part of the street and walked into the parking lot. kelsey had said she had been in an insane in the membrane tent, but she didn't have her contacts with her - which were in skylar's other pocket - and, well, she had a hangover. she might've even wandered out by now. oh well, best to check the first idea and then he could call her and ask where the hell she was, if she wasn't in the tent. he walked past a few of scar tissue's own tents, glad that the concert was still over seven hours away and that the fans weren't here to try and kill him with their fangirly or fanboyly joy at seeing a celebrity, and then started poking his head inside any tents that said on their signs they sold insane in the membrane stuff. he sighed in relief when on the second one he saw kelsey standing in the middle of it. "hey," he said, walking inside and handing her the latte. he reached into his pocket and pulled out her contacts and aspirin as well, handing them to her also. "you ok?

boy, did you ever think that lovin' would be nothing more than walking me home?
--------------------------------------- kelsey stood up too fast, her head swimming. she jabbed her fingers at her forehead, trying to get the headache to go away. she hated that she had to depend on pills to get her head to stop hurting; she'd always felt a bit iffy about taking them, but it wasn't like she could really do anything about it.
not done. [/blockquote]
