i opened my eyes last night and saw you
i was feeling the night grow old and you were looking so cold

She didn't need to see anything, Melody for once in her life felt lonely. Loneliness isn't that rare a feeling, but it's an emotion that the rainbow haired girl isn't used to feeling but on rare, and unruly occassions. The girl didn't look like she belonged to the scene if you based who she was off the clothing she wore. Her outfit was black and white pretty much. With gray areas. Minus her rings-- They were always colorful, and her shoes. But shh. Zippered halfway was an element hoodie that she rather adored. You could see a scoopneck gray tee shirt underneath that seemed to cling to her in all the right places, and around her neck was a gray and black heart necklace.
Her jeans weren't skinny, for the mere fact she usually saved those for when she played live with the band. Instead these were flared and ripped, and ended with some black Osiris skateboarding shoes, rather cute, no? Her hair was pulled to the front in two braids, minus her bangs and fringe which happened to be loose and pin straight. You couldn't see the back of her head either. Why? She had her hood up. Amongst the lovers that always seemed to walk this pathway at night, she was just a loner, content in the peacefulness that was the night. White chords that travelled up to her ears shut out all sound, unless that sound was someone she liked. What? It was low enough so that she could hear if someone was talking to her. Biting her lower lip she continued on.
The girl fought all urges of singing for the mere fact, she did not have a voice suited for that. She just.. Didn't some people did, and some people didn't. That was just life. She could work a synth system, or a merch table like nobody's business though. Legit, it was pretty rad. She named the synth set Moomoo. Yeah, she didn't know why either. Not that it really mattered. It was kinda.. Eh. Hahah yeah, pretty lame she knew.
Now Melody faced a dillema as she arrived towards the abandoned playground, the swings or the sandbox? Hahah, she hadn't been to a park in so long it was rather sickening.. So, she chose the swingset. It was actually quite amusing to her that from this point in the park. The stars seemed to light up the sky like a thousand candles during a vigil, it was so beautiful. Melody also knew the names of the constellations, which was shocking as well. Finally though something unexpected happened. The girl indeed sang,
"Time together is just never quite enough,
When you and I are alone, I’ve never felt so at home
Her voice was not this disgusting thing she told people it was, in fact.. She was being rediculously hard on herself. Melody's voice was rather melodic and soft, sweet-- Almost sickly sweet. It was pretty to say the least. And now, at this very moment. The world around her faded, and little miss Melody was happy, and feeling as if no one else mattered.
